Sleep 8 are looking for 2 x Key Holders.

Overall Purpose of Role:

Act as a leading force on the sales floor. Learn how to manage the operations of the store. Run the store independently when needed. Provide a positive customer service experience while developing new customer relationships and interact with existing customers to increase sales. Build strong partnerships with co-workers and store management.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales
– Contribute to the attainment sales goals.
– Assist store management with training entire team
– Convey the importance of the Sleep.8 customer experience.
– Enforce excellent customer service through quotations, customer approach and relationship development.

Communication
– Report and communicate information concerning personnel, merchandise and operations on a regular basis to Store Manager.
– Actively participate in staff meetings for the purpose of discussing steps of the sale, policy implementation of changes etc.
– Report merchandise status, fast sellers, slow sellers,

Merchandising
– Participate in the merchandising of the store in order to acquire the skills necessary to work independently.

– Merchandise store according to the VM Sleep.8 guidelines.

– Implement correct usage of interior signage.

– Ensure all stock is well maintained and in good condition.

– Maintain shopfloor to the set Sleep.8 standard and follow the Sleep.8 visual principles at all times

HR
– Assist in the orientation and training of new team members.
– Assist management with coordinating the daily activities of sales associates.
– Support company philosophies and the management staff.
– Present a professional appearance in accordance with established dress code.
– Maintain a high level of attendance and punctuality.

Operations
– Open and close the store.
– Maintain appropriate records and receipts for all products sold. Ensure cash register and money intake balance daily.
– Ensure name capture is attempted at every transaction.
– Ensure price changes are accurately and up to date.

Customer Service
– Coordinate and seek assistance from the Store Manager (and/or ASM) in closing a sale.
– Notify customers of upcoming events and promotions
– Maintain an awareness of the competitive environment.

Loss Prevention
– Maintain inventory on the shop floor.
– Ensure items are properly checked for pricing, and correctly placed on the shop floor.

Managing the Environment:

– Achieve Company-average mystery shop results by uphold the Company’s mystery shop standards
Operations:
– Perform all store-level operational procedures accurately and in a timely fashion, in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
– Achieve the store stock loss goals by overseeing adherence to loss prevention practices
– Assist in upholding Company Health & Safety regulations at all times in order to protect employees and customers against accidents and incidents
Merchandising & Display:
– Manage all aspects of the assigned department in collaboration with the Visual Merchandising Manager with regard to: training, shipment placement, markdowns, transfers, merchandising and store standards
– Understand and interpret current fashion trends in local markets in order to generate creative solutions
– Take an active role in ensuring floor sets for the department are well organised and scheduled appropriately
Commercial Awareness:
– Maximise departmental sales through analytical and creative management of merchandise from receipt to sales
– Utilise Company reports to react to trends and drive business
– Stay abreast of current trends and have a sound knowledge of customer profile by keeping up to date with external influences i.e. media and local community
– Manage stock levels appropriately (taking into consideration the store environment) through the understanding of relevant reports and market trends
– Demonstrate entrepreneurial skills to achieve and exceed store targets What You’ll Need
– Experience in a management role working in a fast paced, high volume fashion retail environment
– Demonstrates strong operational skills • An understanding of the Urban Outfitters culture and its appeal to the local market
– Ability to drive sales through excellent service, strong visual presentation, and a full understanding of the business
