News — Guildford Greats October Winner: Vicky

 

This month, we’re thrilled to recognise Vicky, a true community champion whose dedication shines across Guildford. Vicky is a support worker for Guildford Action for Families, where she passionately helps families in need. She also runs a popular bingo night for mums every fortnight, offering a warm and fun space for local parents. Through her work with the Big Brother Big Sister project, Vicky matches mentors with children facing tough challenges, providing vital guidance and support. On top of all this, she spends three nights a week supporting individuals at The Oakleaf Safehaven, a mental health crisis drop-in centre.

Vicky’s incredible commitment to others, all while being a mum and a new nan, makes her a truly deserving “Guildford Great!” Thank you, Vicky, for all you do!
