We’ve launched our Free Coffee Grounds scheme!

While shopping you’ll find a station where you can collect coffee grounds from our cafes to take home and use as fertiliser for your garden!

This is just another way we’re committed to making Guildford Greener.

Coffee grounds are a great fertiliser and compost as they are rich in nutrients that keep plants healthy. The grounds hold a substantial amount of nitrogen, as well as potassium and phosphorus which all plants and greenery need. Recycling these grounds as fertiliser reduces waste that goes to landfill and reduces our carbon footprint.
