Get ready to enter the new season with our stylish Spring/Summer collection. To celebrate the latest new fashion trends hitting our stores, we’ve teamed up with some fantastic local Instagram fashionistas for a photoshoot unlike any other.
The backdrop? The iconic Guildford Castle!
Immerse yourself in the medieval history at Guildford Castle, a structure believed to have been erected after the Norman invasion of 1066. Today, its grand keep and breathtaking gardens have become the backdrop to our latest fashion campaign.
Where Guildford history meets blooming style
Guildford Castle Gardens are celebrated for their vibrant floral displays, all bursting with colour around the 11th Century Castle Keep. But the grounds offer so much more! Our style team spent a day in early spring snapping photos amongst the grounds of the Castle with the life-size Alice Through the Looking Glass statue, striking a pose on the bowling green or at bandstand.
The historic grounds also house the town’s war memorial stands. During the warmer months, an open-air theatre brings the castle to life.
A peek inside the historic keep
History buffs will love exploring the keep’s visitor centre (open April-September). You’ll find informative panels detailing the castle’s fascinating story and a model showcasing its appearance around 1300. Feeling adventurous? Climb the staircase to the tower’s roof and be rewarded with breathtaking views of the castle grounds and Guildford.

Fashion meets history at the Guildford Castle Gatehouse
The castle’s old gatehouse now houses a part of the Guildford Museum, a local history archaeology treasure trove, and a unique needlework collection. It is the perfect place to delve deeper into Guildford’s rich past after capturing your fashionable moment at the Castle.
