ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Key Holder you will keep the daily operations of flowing smoothly at Typo. The Key Holder reports to the Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager and is responsible for ensuring the management team’s direction is executed at all times within the store. The Key Holder is responsible for ensuring Sales Associates’ attendance, productivity, and morale. The Key Holder provides support, direction and assistance to his/her team on all areas of their assigned duties. This role helps to motivate and inspire his/her team to work efficiently. The Key Holder will also monitor Sales Associates to ensure they maintain a friendly and helpful attitude toward customers. Key Holders will not be responsible for establishing any store policies or evaluating employees’ performance through written documentation.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Retail Sales experience that shows you are confident in introducing new and exciting products to customers and drive to achieve sales budgets
- Retail leadership experience that has allowed you the opportunity to lead aspects of the business and develop team members.
- Completing tasks with a sense of urgency
- Understanding of delivering the very highest standards of customer service

– Keep the flow smooth by managing deliveries, processing returns, and restocking shelves with fresh inventory.
– Add a creative touch by wrapping beautiful gifts, engraving jewellery and loading gift cards.

Important stuff to note:
– Contracts will end on either 27th December 2026 or 3rd January 2027, subject to discussion at interview.
– You must be available to work on key trading days throughout the duration of your contract, which will include weekends, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. We will do our very best to distribute these days fairly, ensuring you won’t be required to work all of them during your contract.
– You will accrue annual leave in line with your holiday entitlement. As this is our busiest time of year, annual leave will not normally be approved during this period, except in exceptional circumstances. Any accrued but untaken annual leave will either be paid to you in your final pay or, depending on business and trading requirements, you may be required to take some or all of your outstanding annual leave during the final weeks of your employment.

Description: Join Our Team at Accessorize! We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic team member to join us for 5 hours every Saturday. We’re looking for someone who is hardworking, confident, eager to learn, and enjoys taking on new challenges. As part of our team, you’ll receive full training to become a qualified ear piercer, so you must be happy and willing to carry out ear piercing as part of the role.
Ideally, we’re looking for someone with previous retail experience who would be interested in developing within the business. There may be opportunities to become a key holder, support the store during holiday cover, and work additional hours, including Sundays, when needed. As retail is busiest during peak trading periods, you must be available to work Boxing Day, which falls on the weekend this year.
We’re looking for someone who lives locally and is looking for a longer-term opportunity, rather than someone who will be away for extended periods during the summer or Christmas holidays. We’re a busy store with a friendly, supportive team, and we’d love to meet people who are excited about being part of it.
