Team Member 4 Hours per week

As one of our Team Members, your role will be key in helping the business to achieve sales targets whilst delivering outstanding customer service. Our teams spend their time on the shop floor so enjoyment of interacting with customers and natural selling skills are crucial to the role.

All of our Team Members need flexibility in the hours that they are available to work; this includes weekends and working additional hours at our busiest trading times such as Christmas, Halloween and Valentine’s Day.

Responsibilities:

To be successful in the role as a Team Member, we are looking for someone with:

  • A passion for customer service who can be a real ambassador for the brand.
  • Previous retail experience as a Team Member in a fast-paced store or service environment.
  • Experience in working towards targets
  • Experience in working in a team environment
  • A genuine love of the products we sell (cards, wrap, gifts and balloons)
  • As a Team Member, you would need to be available to work hours to suit the trading patterns of the store

Job Description:
We’re Hiring for a Store Supervisor to join our friendly, hard-working team at Accessorize! We are currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Supervisor to support the daily operations of our store.

This is a part-time position with set working hours:
Sunday: 10:45 AM – 5:15 PM
Wednesday 8.45-6.15pm
Thursday 2.30-8.00pm

You will also need to be flexible to help cover additional shifts when the Store Manager is off.

We’re looking for someone with key holding or management experience, and in return, you’ll receive full training, including becoming a professional ear piercer as part of your role.

What you’ll do as a Supervisor:

Team Leadership

  • Support, motivate, and guide your team to deliver outstanding service and achieve sales targets
  • Assist in training new team members and support performance development

Customer Experience

  • Ensure every customer receives a positive, engaging experience
  • Help manage returns, resolve complaints, and maintain high service standards

Sales & Commercial Performance

  • Drive sales by identifying opportunities, implementing strategies, and supporting promotional activity
  • Contribute to achieving store targets and maximizing performance

Store Operations

  • Manage stock levels and deliveries, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure visual merchandising is consistently strong
  • Support the smooth running of daily operations and ensure all company policies are followed

Communication & Problem Solving

  • Keep management informed on team performance, store updates, and any issues
  • Take initiative to resolve problems quickly and effectively, especially during peak times or staff shortages
